Candles, Wax Melts & Accessories
All of our candles are hand poured in county Fermanagh, we use two types of natural wax. Soy wax a vegetable wax made from the oil of soybeans. After harvesting, the beans are cleaned, cracked, de-hulled, and rolled into flakes. The oil is then extracted from the flakes and hydrogenated. The hydrogenation process converts some of the fatty acids in the oil from unsaturated to saturated. This process dramatically alters the melting point of the oil, making it a solid at room temperature. The leftover bean husks are commonly used as animal feed.
Rapeseed and Coconut Wax is also a natural sustainable blend. All of our candles are free from paraffin, soy, palm, beeswax and synthetic additives. We specialise in creating candles that are clean, and safer to burn, whilst creating a soft scent enhancing your mood, stimulating your senses and bring back memories. We are compiling blogs on making candles and why we have chosen the ingredients and the processes feel free to have a read Paraffin vs Soy.
