Stoneware Wax Melt Burner

Add warmth and fragrance to your home with the SUNU wax melt burner. Featuring a curved, minimalist silhouette and beautifully textured glaze, this handmade, two-piece stoneware design is as tactile as it is timeless.

Each piece is individually crafted by skilled artisans in Kathmandu, Nepal, using a blend of local Nepali clays. The clay is shaped on a potter’s wheel, with any carved details added by hand before the pieces are sun-dried, glazed and fired at high temperatures. The result is durable stoneware with a unique character and subtle variations that make every burner one of a kind.

A little more about the makers

Created by a large artisan collective certified by the World Fair Trade Organization, these ceramics combine traditional craftsmanship with a commitment to ethical production. AURA QUE has worked with the collective since 2019, supporting initiatives that include family healthcare allowances, children’s education and savings schemes. The organisation is also reducing its environmental impact by moving away from kerosene-based firing towards electric kilns.
