The minimum recommend amount of alcohol is 60% by the Centre of Disease Control. There is no specific benefit using a higher percentage (such as the 70% band wagon lots of producers seem to have jumped on), and the higher the alcohol content the more drying it is on the skin. So with this in mind the alcohol content in my product is 63%, more than enough to be effective but not so much that it burns your hands.

This hand sanitiser is a semi natural product due to the alcohol used. I've used a blend of Peppermint & Lavender Essential Oils as they have antibacterial, antiviral, anti-inflammatory properties. It also contains Vegetable Glycerine and ProVitamin B5 which are effective humectants (reduces the loss of water), and works as a skin emollient and regenerating ingredient. 

Please remember the most effective way to keep your hands clean is to wash with soap and water. However at times when this is not possible a Hand Cleansing Spray is good to have in your hand bag or car.

As always we want to offer transparency - this product is not natural due to the type of alcohol we are using. Our priority was to get this hand spray out as quickly as possible to help as many people as we could, so we used what was available to us.

Ingredients: Isopropyl Alcohol 63%, Distilled water, Glycerin, Cocamidopropyl Betaine (derived from Coconut), Panthenol (dl-panthenol/Provitamin B5), Butylene Glycol Dicaprylate/Dicaprate (dervied from Coconut), Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Oil, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Limonene*, Linalool*

*Occurs naturally in essential oils
