Our organic hand & body wash is a natural soap base made from saponified oils of coconut and sunflower. It provides a nice gentle cleaning action good for individuals with sensitive skin.
We have created two scents -
Lavender, Cedarwood & Patchouli which is a calming & soothing scent, floral with woody undertones.
Lavender & Peppermint due to the popularity of our Hand Defence, for this version we have used slightly more Lavender and a little less Peppermint. Both oils also have anti bacterial properties while offering a clean, fresh & uplifting scent.
As it is a true soap and not a syndet (i.e., a blend of synthetic detergents / surfactants and water) it goes through saponification (which effectively sterilises the mixture). Plus, the pH of the product is around 11, which is too high for most microbes to survive or grow in. It is a self-preserving system so no additional preservatives are needed.
